Covid 19 Policies & Practice for Bella Vida Psychology

1. Purpose
This COVID-Safe Plan outlines the procedures and measures Bella Vida Psychology will implement to ensure the health and safety of clients, staff, and visitors. This plan aligns with current SA Health guidelines and Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act 2012 (SA) requirements.
2. Infection Control Measures
Hygiene & Cleaning
Hand sanitiser is available at the entrance and throughout the practice.
High-touch surfaces (e.g., door handles, desks) will be cleaned regularly.
Staff will maintain good hand hygiene before and after client sessions.
Physical Distancing & Ventilation
We maintain appropriate spacing in waiting areas.
We use natural ventilation where possible.
Face Masks
Masks are optional unless required by SA Health directives.
Clients and staff may wear masks based on personal preference.
3. Staff & Client Health Protocols
When to Stay Home
Staff and clients must not attend in person if they have flu-like symptoms, have tested positive for COVID-19, or are awaiting test results.
Staff should notify the practice as soon as possible if they are unwell and work remotely if feasible.
Telehealth Options
Telehealth appointments available for clients who are unwell or prefer remote sessions.
4. Communication & Compliance
Clear signage displayed regarding hygiene and safety measures.
Clients will be informed of COVID policies via website.
Practice owner will monitor SA Health updates and adjust policies as needed.
This plan will be reviewed regularly to ensure compliance with evolving health recommendations.
